After much prayer and discussion with the Granada Team Expansion, WLM has made the decision to cancel the Spain project this summer. While it saddens us not to be sharing Jesus through the Discovery English Camp, we look forward to serving in Granada the summer of 2021. Dates are yet to be determined, but will probably be around the end of June/first of July time frame.

Summer 2019 saw WLM launch its first international mission projects. From sharing Jesus through art, sports, and English camps, WLM volunteers shared the light of hope and love in many different ways.
We are thankful for all our servant-hearted volunteers and mission hosts for letting WLM be a part of their summer.
July/August 2019 - WLM partnered with Iglesia Evangelica Alianza Solo Cristo Salva in Cucuta, Colombia and Carla Lowe to lead a week long VBS in Spanish. The building was at full capacity with over 200 preschool and elementary age kids excited to come and hear God’s Word.
Ranch Avalanche (Rancho Avalancha): A Wild Ride Through God’s Word was the theme for the week and focused on sharing the powerful messages that God is real, with us, strong, awesome, and in charge.
July 2019 - WLM partnered with Igreja de Cristo do Campinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
With local schools on winter break, WLM's team of six spent the first part of the week sharing the love of Jesus through art, games, and fun at the church building.
Rejov - Youth Retreat
Rejov 2019 is the annual winter youth retreat. The theme was "I Am Known by God," and focused on being fully known and loved by God, and that nothing can separate us from that love.
July 2019 - WLM partnered with the Iglesia Cristiana Evangelica in Murcia, Spain.
Murcia Youth Camp
The focus for the three-day camp was Jonah. The team shared the story of how God used an uncooperative messenger to bring an entire city back to Him. After each lesson time, the youth (and adults) enjoyed some hands on fun through tie-dyed shirts, sand art, glow bottles, and rock painting. Campers also enjoyed beach time, games, smores, and campfire praise time.
Murcia Art Camp
Based on the theme “In the Beginning God Made,” the story of God’s creation was shared with kids and adults of all ages at the church building. Each day the campers added to their days of creation book and then created their own masterpieces in clay, plaster, and fluid art.
What a joy watching all ages create such different pieces – from crosses, dolls, boats, and even a tray of sushi.
July 2019 - WLM partnered with Team Expansion in Granada, Spain to host a Discovery English Camp for local youth.
The theme was "The Great Mystery" and focused on God's loving plan to save his children through Jesus. The kids danced to praise songs, learned about Jesus, practiced English, played basketball, and had a lot of fun.
